today = $10 fully operational original nintendo system at the gay thrift store. only game included: teenage mutant ninja turtles. so far, i suck. where the hell besides ebay can i find more original nintendo games?
more specifically, i want this game that i played as a little kid, but since i was a little kid, i don't hardly remember anything about it except that it was -kind of- like an advanced pacmac for two players, where these little amoebic-looking things went around trying to eat fruits (i think?) while not getting killed. there were something like 99 levels, the 99th involved a bunch of the bad guys shooting crap at you from the very top of the screen and i could never beat that level. anyone have any clue of anything sounding even remotely similar? i want it so bad. SO BAD.
also, i bought dremel accessories today. mmm, drum sanders and a new tiny mandrel. oh so much dremmeling afoot! /tools

There was a Bubble Bobble Part two apparently.. I gotta get them..
I have infinate copies of Mario brothers 1 with or without duckhunt, an extra copy of Metal Gear and Dragonwarrior if you're interested.
The best games we ever played on that system was Final Fantasy 1, Kirby's Avdenture, World Games, Ninja Turtles 2 and 3, Jackal and I hear the later Dragon Warrior games are good.
Up here. Electronics Boutique guys and sells origional nintendo games. They used to be really overpriced. But they finaly budged and reduced them.
Don't worry. I suck at Ninja Turtles 1 too!

BUBBLE BOBBLE??? Oh, Jesus... they had that game at VCU, specifically the laundry room of Gladding Rez Center when I was going there. The volume of the game's music WAS CRANKED LIKE UNGODLY LOUD LOUD LOUD and all I could think was, "Those poor fools who got a room above the laundry room," I mean... wow... if it was me, that Bubble Bobble machine would've met an unfortunate end when a "mystery student" poured a Big Gulp down the back of it at 3 a.m.
but don't let my hostility kill your joy of playing Bubble Bobble at home, at a respectable volume.
