holy shit. i bought a fucking metal salt shaker from the thrift store today for $5 because i thought it was made of about $50 worth of silver, but then i looked at it again and realized it couldn't be silver 'cos the tarnish wasn't quite right and the inside was a strange colour... and it was really bothering me 'cos i couldn't figure out what the metal was, and knowing metal is all like, my job 'n' shit. so i did some research and i'm pretty sure now that it's most likely an alloy of zinc... and ANTIMONY.
i didn't even know antimony was a metal.
