i just got back from SETTING UP MY ART SHOW. !!!
i am so fucking excited! and even though the gallery was concentrating on jewelry this month, the owner liked my non-jewelry work so much that she had me put that in the show too! i have one jewelry case and one tall display case all to myself. my three hollow form rings, the fishy spoon and the snake box are in the jewelry case, and the fish mausoleum is on a pedestal in the tall display all by itself. i'm incredibly happy and excited for this. my first real gallery show!
i put prices on everything too, so, maybe i'll make some money off this. that would be really nice.
i got to see some of the other works that are going to be in the same show, and most of it was pretty fucking nice. so that's another little ego boost, cos it means they actually think my work is good, instead of them just being desperate for exhibits.
hehehe i feel special.
if you are local to richmond, virginia and want to come see the opening of the show my work is in, it is this friday (first friday) from 7-10pm. i will be there for the opening. the show will continue until january 26th (i think) but it's never as exciting as the opening. so if you're interested and could seriously attend, let me know, and i'll tell you which gallery and where it is. support the arts or some shit!

the jewelry compnay is mine. i am the owner. not to shabby eh! as for the jewelry i have about 7 diffrent suppliers who i go through based out of all the corners of the globe. i don't make anything personally but am always on the lookout fornew and creative items to add
