Hit the Qld Gallery today - Margaret Preston and Grace Cossington Smith exhibitions.
Had seen some of their works before going and was surprised that I ended up preferring Preston's work over Grace's ( one of my inspirations lol) Go figure. Both amazing women in their times, but Preston had more of a message for me in her art, where as Smith's messages are purely...

Doubt reigns supreme. Went to Chiropractor/Osteopath and he says that GP is full of shit. I don't have arthritis - just normal wear and tear for 44 year old neck.

Looks like I will have to go best of 3! Question is - who do I see for third opinion??

My neck has been out for a week now, and just got word from my GP...I have arthritis in my neck.

He's given me 2 - 5 years to find a less physically demending job or I will have a permanent disability - probably disabling my right arm.

Guess at least I have plenty of warning.

Just about got a dedicated studio area set up and also have an idea for a series that could be exhibited. Just have to run it past some other creative minds to make sure it isn't too sucky smile

Of course it will. Doesn't it all fall into place every year? The value of said place, though, is determinant on perception I guess. I'm hoping for a 'good' place this time round - 'great' seemed to be a bit of a high gamble last year, I'm gonna ty realistic standards for a change. Aim low and at least you'll reach your goals smile

And, yeah, interesting results indeed, I hope to forget school someday personally ... good luck to me.

The ex dumped the kids on friends and pissed off to Brisbane for the day. Called me at 3 saying the our son needed to be picked up at 4 and could i do it and she would be back as soon as she could. 8.45 last night was as soon as she could! Missed...
