I have been as sick as three dogs. Worst dose of the flu I have ever had (or maybe I'm just gettin' too old for this shit
) Great for those wanting to lose some weight though ... three kilos in 4 days lol. (None of it through dehydration either)
The Gold Coast youth have made the news yet again...I tend to cringe when I see people draped in the aussie flag (outside the olympics and commonwealth games). I just don't see patriotism - I see intolerance, self righteousness and usually drunkedness. (maybe I AM getting too old!)
While I'm on my soap box, I hate that the Eureka flag is becoming a symbol for "White Australia"/cultural intolerance movements .... that's just not what the flag represented when people died under it.
