I have been dirty with the US over their treatment of the prisoners at Guantanamo Bay......and here we are doing almost the same thing at Baxter and probably Villawood...
A guy at Baxter detention centre, who has done some time in an Indonesian Jail - says that the Indonesian Jail is a better place to be interred. I have moved from being disappointed in my government, to being disgusted
And on a lighter note..The "Tree of Knowledge" at Barcaldine, Qld has been poisoned and has died. It was a historic tree and it is sad that some asshole "Round-up"-ed it, but a memorial service?? wtf???
Or society can be summed up by today ...memorial service for a tree and refusing basic rights and dignity to humans!
