I recently rediscovered comics. What a small part of my life that was missing. I felt so much better dropping $70 on comics in one day and then reading them all. Its funny how the little things in life that you want can help keep ya sane. Might even buy more comics this weekend.
For the longest time I was a Marvel fanboy. If it wasn't Marvel I didn't want to read it, except for a small period of time where I dug some stuff Image comics did. But that was mid 90s. Since then its been Marvel or nothing. Until most recently. I had this sort of revelation. I was like hey, DC makes some good books too. It was like opening up this whole new world. Granted my DC titles picked up monthly are still short of my Marvel by about 3 to 1. What am I reading you ask? Well here's a list:
Astonishing X-Men
New Avengers
Ultimates 2 (soon Ultimates 3 as it starts its new run)
Exiles
Green Lantern
Brave and the Bold
