I don't believe in God. Perhaps gods, and maybe their existence is such that individuality is impossible and the collective unconscious of this race of gods is essentially the "capital G" God; but if this is the case, why not just call humanities collective unconscious God and be done with it? In this way politics and religion would need to be lumped together, so that might get messy, but most importantly, we'd need to remember that selfishness is the same as selflessness.
Let me repeat: selfishness is the same as selflessness. This also means that selflessness is selfish, so maybe I should elaborate: When someone only thinks of others what they are really doing is protecting themself from the evils of a centric mind, which is necessarily selfish, and when a person delves deep enough into their own hearts they find that they are connected to all things and that all things are connected. (Is the following a non sequitur: ) As such--let's destroy America's Democratic Republic and instate a True Democracy over the entire world ! Globalization destroys culture and is kinda scary in and of itself, however, it is too late to stop now, and if humans all reach inside themselves and find the connection to all then the collective unconscious will take over and we will protect ourselves--and ourselves is Us--and you may have guessed--Us is God.
