Tonight's bedtime story, girls and boys, is the story of the cowboy and the dark-haired maiden of the west. They met as faces in a crowd, innocuous yet uneventful, however the cowboy did not let a challenge go unmet. Through guile and cunning, and the fact she thought he was cute, the cowboy was able to corner the beautiful maiden and a great discussion was had. They were both simple folk, but had open eyes, and spoke on all manner of events including politics and religion; nothing was taboo and all was received with laughter and smiles. Lips worked and tongues waggled and all was as it should be.
