Thinking about my dogs, story time:
This is before we rescued Ginger so it was just Freckles, Zee, Zooey, and I, down in a ditch down in that place I once lived. Anyway, all was a sudden commotion over by this pile of brush, and before I could react the dogs started running every which way trying to tear off their noses in the dirt. Quite humorous if you didn't have to live with the mutts for the next week.
Another skunk tale, this one with Ginger: right behind my house in the creek bed a couple of the cutest baby skunks come waddling over. I saw how my dad reacted last time with the dogs getting sprayed so I started yelling and making a ruckus. The three who had an encounter prior were smart and stayed back. But Ginger's love presence is strong, and one of the little stink bombs and my big girl Ginger just sniffed and sniffed and sniffed. She came away kinda stinky from proximity but I still feel bad for getting so upset that she was curious. It was the cutest thing ever really.
