the weeks that was....
the new is going okay. with my self imposed two week grace period almost over, it will be interesting to see how things pan out. this week we had everyone and their brother coming to our store for meetings. this is what i get for going to the training store. hopefully this will be my week to see what my staff will shape up to be. is wrong to worry about the eagerness of someone to stay in the back room? well, we'll see how she works when the creeping mold that is my lead goes on vacation the back half of this week. and i have my nice little plan to get rid of her already, and it's okay'd by all those involved, from my store manager to my district manager. so now i get to take alll the excuses away and leave her with nothing. ah management....
in other news... wichcraft66 is thinking about possibly moving out here. damn boyo i knew you enjoyed you weekend but that was quick, at least i knew that i would be getting laid on a regular basis before i thought about it. so anyone interested go tell good ole' brother stephen what you think about it. pros cons that kinda thing.
we passed the 34th week mark in the wait for sophia. now it's a matter of convincing her to wait. i'm now saying the 19th. but secretly hoping for aug. 9th (my grandmother's bday)
went to look at a truck yesterday with the father in law. you think 2 grand is a good price for a 55 chevy pickup? i do. it's mostly there. maybe another grand to get it up and running and fully safe to drive. i must thing on it.
