sleep is good... if nas wants to call it the cousin of death, then he should run into me when i'm low on sleep then he could meet that cousin....
so we're pretty much unpacked...we have a living room and kitchen and the bed room was set up from day one. the good little woman cooked breakfast yesterday so now the up stairs smells like maple syrujp and bacon...not totally bad smells. but i think brownies are in order before this house is truely a home.
on another note we are in the 24th week of pregnancy. sophia is wiggling away gaining weight and keeping sam up. i'll try and be sad for her but she's kept me up enough times...
mom and dad came out for a visit last week (one of the reasons i was so damn tired!) had a great time with them. now the countdown is on for steve to come out.
i'm growing my chops out again. the missus likes them and i'm fond of them too. still need to shave the rest of my face, i'm all scruffy like.
been watching lots of world war II movies...pretty much because they are the best things on...
how can steve macqueen be considered such a good actor if he didn't say any lines? hell even i can stand there and look haggard. still think that the big ww2 gave us the best movies.
and such a good selection of them. korea did give us m.a.s.h.
nam gave us the green berets (the only pro vietnam war movie) and full metal jacket. and so many other about the after effect of the war (see also rambo, missing in action, and anything else starring chuck norris) i don't count the original gulf war as a war becasuse and i quote bill hicks "a war is when two armies are fighting"
but i digress...
questions comments and other various thought:
1. eat bacon with breakfast...save the rest for snacking, even if the wife wants it for b.l.t.s
2. a 62 chevy imapala for 800 buck sounds like a good deal.
3. there is nothing like having a hot cup of coffee
4. a woman's mission is to give men a hard time or a hard on, if she can do both at the same time she is a very accomplished woman indeed
5. there is nothing wrong with buying something for yourself, as a gift to yourself, if you have accomplished something for your loved one.
