so this is austin! (looks around) great another place for me to get lost in. thanx to mamabunny for the tip to stop at bookpeople. this place rocks! so the past two days i've been hanging out with one of my dad's old college buddies and his wife down in san antonio. what a blast it was. bill and i end up getting lost on river walk in downtown, trying to find the boat tours. finally found it. all this after seeing the quiet un-impressive alamo. i think my grandmother's place is bigger. (not to bust on texas history) hard to think that hanging out with a couple my parents age could be the highlight of my trip thus far. and they even tried to get me to move down. ha! like a night of texas bar-b-q could sway me. a night with the girl that cut up the ribs maybe...but it would still be a hard sell. so i'm off to explore austin. making trails-(nooch)
