Silly Dreams...
This morning as the sun light filtered through blinds and eyelids my mind began to stir out of slumber. I felt something warm in my arms and wouldn't you know, my mind started painting a picture of the scene; it was her and as I opened my eyes in this vision I saw her eyes fluttering open from between stray strands of hair at the same time as mine did, hair that smelt so lovely, then we kissed to greet the new day together. Unfortunately my eyes opened to find only a pillow, warmed by my own body heat, within my arm's grasp.
Wave after wave of dread and guilt followed me throughout my morning routine. Feelings of malevolence towards my unconscious mind filled me all morning for daring to dream of something that can never be.
Why do I keep doing this? If I knew how, I would beat my mind into submission until it agreed that this has to stop.
I'm tired of walking around with a pretend look of calm on my face I haven't felt for months.

i don't really tour the art galleries, but i do hit up openings every so often. a lot of my friends are arty folks, and i'm a big fan of fecalface & alla that.
