I am in class right now - Media 451 Media consumption seminar. This is the class for which I am writing my Suicide Girls project, which is nice. I like having the freedom of being able to research and write on what I want, but with a class this self driven there is almost no point some days to meet.
Today is one of those days. This week we are taking turns presenting our theses for evaluation.
Right now a girl is presenting on her subject 'Glee'. I don't know if any of you have ever heard of this. I hadn't until today. It would seem the antithesis of what I am working on with SG. This girl has no structure, no spine. This is killing me. I almost never take out my computer in class. I find it rude and inconsiderate, even though in this technological age it is becoming more and more common in school, but I don't know what else I can do to be able to sit through this. She is making an apology for fan fiction. When I asked her if that is what she is doing? she says
"No! I'm not apologizing for it. I'm defending it!" I'm pretty sure I just saw the professor just did a face palm.

Gods I must sound like a real asshole today, but this chick can really drive me bat shit crazy
Not to mention that this is just fucking boring as all get out.

speaking of the research I haven't done. If anyone knows of any academic writing on Suicide Girls that has been done, I would really appreciate any help I can find.
Though, if I am actually the first person to do this, well then bully for me.
