My dad passed away on Wednesday morning. Both my sister and myself live away from home, she just happened to be visiting when he was taken into hospital.
I received a call on Saturday that he'd been admitted and by Saturday night we knew it wasn't looking good 😥
I was on a plane on Sunday and went straight from the airport to the hospital.
I didn't leave his bedside apart from going home to my mum's house for a quick shower.
He passed peacefully with myself and my sister by his side 😭
