Tomorrow I get my vasectomy. I'm told it should be relatively painless, except for the needle to inject the local anesthesia. Yes friends, I am awake the entire procedure, meaning that I will "feel" the guy pull out the tube, cut it and stuff it back in. I should also feel the stitches. But, it apparently does not hurt, I just feel the pressure. Yuck. What I am really not looking forward to is the recovery. I have to wear tighty-whities for a couple of weeks, occcasionally put an ice pack on my nuts and be off my feet for a few days. My balls are supposed to bruise up pretty badly and possibly swell up too. And the first few times I ejaculate should hurt and have a little blood in the semen. 
Sounds great, sign me up.
Still, it is all outweighed by the fact that I will be as barren as the Austrailian outback - no kids for me, thanks.
