today is my day off and im sore as fuck...judo practice last night was hell, Andrew is entering the brown belt state tournament so me and him went at it full force for almost 2 hours. my instructor is 4th degree black belt in judo and in the mid 90's got a tad bit into mma and had a few fights...sounds random but it will make sense here in a sec. well towards the end of calss we had a new guy who is your typical frat ufc dipshit, who think by taking a martial art hes gonna be the next ultimate fighter or some shit; anyways he stratred asking when you start learning strikes to takedowns and my teacher told him when your a brown belt. well apraenlty the guy had had some experience is some sort of striking art and got cocky about it, so my teacher put me up against him so see how things would pan out...little did this kid know both my dad and uncle boxed for years in the navy, so then he threw a left hook i countered with a right stain and shot in, took ahold of him and got him with a harai, lets just say after it went to the ground he dident last long. after this my instructor told me about combat jujitsu, whish is basically the same exact thing as combat sambo...to make a long story short it looks like thats what he wants me to start doing, which i dont mind, i need a break from strait judo, it gets boring after a wile. as i said its my day off and all hell is breaking lose, its pouring down rain the lightning like crazy, but bane is the shit and i have it turned up really loud...that is all.
