Thanks for the condolences everyone. I'm doing fine, pretty relieved actually that it's over and that Hobbes doesn't have to live in pain anymore. He was possibly the best cat ever.
I climbed Mt. Eisenhower yesterday. It's the first 4,000 footer I've ever done. It's about 4,760 feet high and about a 3 mile hike up. For someone with bad knees, I'm not sure it was a good idea, but it was fun. Apparently, it's one of the easier hikes in the Presidentials, but it was tough. At more than one point in the ascent I was wondering what I got myself into. I'm proud I finished it though. I took a lot of pictures, I'll put some up when I get a chance.
