lymphosarcoma. cancer of the lymph nodes. three weeks ago, we took him in for his annual check-up, not knowing anything was wrong at all. and tomorrow, we're putting him to sleep. in those three weeks, he's gone almost completely blind because the cancer cells have grown in and clouded over the lens and have detached the retina. since i took him to be seen on monday for the lump that showed up on his front leg, he's developed a heart murmur and is having trouble breathing. we knew he was really sick, and that we'd have to eventually put him down to end the suffering. but i wasn't prepared for it to be tomorrow.
