Today is the day!!! Goodbye hair!!! I chose the 2nd photo if anyone looked at the links I posted. It's going to be much shorter and really cute hopefully. We shall see. Either way, I can always grow it out. Everyone keeps asking me if I'm nervous. Hell no, I'm not nervous. OK maybe just a little about how well the stylist I get is able to follow a picture. I know going from halfway down my back, to chin length is a big step, but it's just hair. I'm not too attached. Oh man I'm excited!!! I will post pictures of the new do as soon as I get a chance! 
I've read "Into the Wild". Beautiful, sad story... Christopher McCandless seemed like an incredible person...
