College algebra made me cringe. Good luck in calc... I'm sick too. You must've somehow passed on your germs to me through this website. You can have them back anytime you want. I've haven't stopped coughing for several days. My stomach is beginning to feel upset because of all the cough drops I've been eating... By the way, how was the concert?

I have a question (hope you don't mind me asking). Did you mention anything to your boyfriend about the "messing around", and, if so, how did he take it? Just curious... I hope everything went well between you two on Thursday night.

There's no reason for you to tell him. It needed to happen. If what you did with Jason was one of the things that helped you realize that you should be with Shael, then it worked out to his benefit anyway. And most of all, it's in the past now, so, leave it there... Don't feel bad about not telling him... You're allowed to have a secret or two...

well, it'd be nice to have more options for things like that. well, there might be, i've never actually tried to find anything other then if it fits, i'm good hehe

By the way... Where are the pics of you with your new hair-style? Did you not get the cut done?... I feel sick now too. This is the time of year when colds start to spread around campus. There are so many people in my classes who are coughing, sneezing, etc... Sorry if I'm posting too many responses, or being annoying. I can get that way sometimes. Just tell me if so. I won't get offended...

OHH iM SHATTERED!!!!

I've always hoped that the Coen brothers would use John Turturro as "The Jesus" in another one of their films. I laugh my ass off during the scenes with him in the bowling alley. Great movie!... What did you end up doing over the weekend? I went out with some friends Friday night and drank a lot. Then I went to the game Saturday with a killer hangover that forced me to stand behind the glass on the concourse instead of sit in the student section (with all the screaming people) to watch the game. Did I learn my lesson from drinking too much Friday? Of course not! I went out Saturday night to a friend of a friend's party and drank quite a bit. But, this time I went to Up All Night for breakfast. I've found that there's something in their scrambled eggs that prevent hangovers. Maybe with your knowledge of chemistry you could analyze the eggs, and find out exactly what chemical or substance they use to accomplish this.

i'd have to agree with ChezGeek,
but I'll throw my two cents in.
You said yourself that it's the new attention that you're getting that you like.
in my limited experience with being on the bad end of finding out about an infidelity, it's not always the pain of thinking about your loved one actually doin the nasty deeds with another man, it's the loss of trust.
Now, I know you aren't going to "do anything" with this guy, so I'm not talking about you shaggin him, but I think it works like this:
if you are in a relationship, and you find out your boyfriend/girlfriend has had sex with somebody else behind your back, it sucks. It sucks A LOT.
But, eventually, if you're lucky, you can get over the physical aspect of it, and realize that it was just sex. That may take a couple years to get to that point, but really, the actual act of the sex is totally secondary to the loss of trust that was behind it in the first place.
So suppose you don't tell him that you've kinda hung out with this new guy, and he somehow finds out about it down the road (and he will, trust me on that one) now he is going to think that you actually DID have something to hide, because you didn't tell him about it in the first place. So even if you never do anything with this new guy, your boyfriend could be put into the position of not believing you when you are finding yourself in the position of trying to tell him that "no really, nothing happened". And that will really suck, because nothing DID happen, but now he doesn't trust you.

Secondly, this new guy... he likes you. Now, I hate to generalize, because everybody is different, and there really are alot of very cool guys out there that aren't assholes and all about sex, but lets just suppose that he isn't all that different, for the sake of argument, let's just suppose he is like "all those other guys" that everybody bitches about. If you start hanging out with him more regularly, and he knows you know he likes you, and he knows you have a boyfriend,

He thinks he's gettin some.

He is probably going to think that you are starting to stray from your boyfriend, and he is probably going to start putting a whole lot more thought and energy into you. He'll probably end up getting hurt over this somehow if you only allow him in so close. That wouldn't be nice.

So that's my two cents, and it's worth about that much.

The "alpha-male" comment I made in my journal was just dumb... All guys act like that sometimes, me included. Guess I was just feeling a little self-righteous.

I'm a junior, just a few credits shy of being a senior... Actually, with as old as I am, I should have a grad degree by now (took a few years off after high school). My major is political science. I wish I would have changed it to psychology... What do you study?
