What everyone else said BAD BAD BAD idea. If he is unhappy he needs to leave the wife first. Unhappy is a pathetic excuse for cheating on the mother of his kids. If you don't know her, you can't judge her based on what he says. He will tell you anything. Don't be the other woman. It will come around on you 3 fold. Take the high ground and tell him he is a slime ball and to go be a dad and husband like he should be. Steer about 500,000,000 miles away from this guy.

P.S. I dont think you are young and nave as someone else said, I rather commend you for having the courage to ask opinions rather than just traipsing into something stupid. You saw the red flags.
