I love this blog topic because one of my dreams in life is to be apart of the dancers lineup. I love how much fun they have & the energy the put into every number. I know how hard dancers work to get perfect. They do an amazing job bringing the audience into their world and truly entertaining the shit out of their performances.
I've been on & off dancing ballet since I was 3. My parents splitting when I was 10 put a pause on my training, my mom was a single mom and just couldn't afford the classes after we moved from NY to FL.
On top of that, growing up my skin color and body type made it hard for me to fit in and caused me to doubt myself a lot. I did stay close to it, cheerleading in high school and going back to dance in college as a major.
Now after getting my tattoos and just following a different path, a typical ballerina will never be an option for me. I'll always stay close to my roots though.
I'd love my SGBB piece to be all of us [I'm just gonna casually include myself in there lol, speak it into existence right 😅] in a "dance studio" with a ballet bar. Starting with the ladies lined up ready to attend classes but as they begin it becomes interesting as the music changes and we start to bloom into our sexy selves. 🦋💕💕✨✨✨
