Unbidden

Sycamore 135 has stood empty now for 27 years
Abandoned, caked with spiderwebs and tears
But a fingerprint of crimson still remains
And crimson tastes like bloody dripping stains
Some foreign doll she tried to rent this dump last week
Her eyes stare blank, her hair turned white, her blood dripped cold,
Her lips contort around a name she'll never speak...

so what am I going to do? nothing. I'll sleep, go to work, and stare at the walls, while telling my self that I need to finish my grad school app and work in manuscript 2.

I don't know if I will go to the SG...

It's about time I wrote some thing here.

first off I am officially announcing that I have retired from commenting on Politics On Line. I just never come off correctly, and get frustrated. I an undecided on weather or not I will comment on social issues or not. One thing I do know is that there are several subjects I should keep my mouth shut...

Political rants can become very difficult on this site. Maybe even more so for me, considering that I usually veir more toward the right end of the spectrum then most. I usually just laugh, and keep my comments out of it.

batattak:
What bands did you release? I just started my own label to release stuff by punk bands from from amazingly obscure countries. I released my first 7" last October by a band from Nepal.
batattak:
Who did the artwork? That's really nice!!

BTW...check out the Buy Stuff link at my site. Ebay has made it very easy to set up ordering buttons for each record and price.

I was a horror punk addict from 1997 till about 2001. Things happened, things changed. I still dig horror punk but I've stopped following the scene. so please tell me the name of any horror punk band that you can think of... that's not listed already. I'll start by eliminating the obvious answeres:

The Misfits
The Cramps
The Damned
The Meteors
45 Grave
The Groovie...

>>Do you know any Country Grrrl bands?
irenzero:
one more time... let's see if this works

The Screamin' Sirens. 80's Cow Punk band from LA. They played punked up country, and featured punker Pleasant Gehnam (sp) and current alt country icon Rosie Florese. They released an LP and a CD (with a revised line up). they also had a movie called 'The Running Kind' that they were part of, it's on VHS if you can find a copy.

Also there was Blood on the Saddle, another cowpunk band that had the amazing Annette Zilinskas (who quit the bangles right before they made their big record). And of course There was the was the Divine Horsemen who grew out of the slash magazine/ Flesheaters, and featured Chris D. and his partner Julie, their mid period stuff like Devils River and Middle of the Night are pretty good.

sorry I could go on and on, check out the sirens or Blood on the Saddle if you can find their stuff.
