Things have been weird and a little painful. I've had a tooth ache for several days, my dentist appointment on Tuesday will hopefully clear it up and fix the rest of my dental issues....
Work.... what can I say, nothing really I had a manager verbally attack me and my department in the middle of the open administration office last week. I reported the incident to my manager who took me straight to HR. I need to talk to HR again about a few past run in's I have had with this manager.........
Got the new Hellacopters CD ep Strikes like Lighting, it's pretty much the same kind of stuff that was on the By the Grace of God , which I liked.... it's going to take some time to absorb.
I also got Thee Ultra Bimboos single from their last album with a cover of Twisted Sisters 'Were not going to Take" and a quick time video......
I've been playing the 1980's computer RPG Wasteland and watching the cable show Jeremiah on DVD, while thinking about sitting down and writing the post apocalypse book I have always wanted to write. I grew up being terrorized by the Left and the Right that the world would end in my life time. I read all the mass market paperbacks, watched the movies and even listened to the few post apocalypse tunes I could find (Peter Steele's pre- Type O Negative band Carnivore for anyone that wants to know). It never came the USSR vanished and we were saved..... but the more I look at it, I see around me the mutants and the destroyed communities and the strongholds and gated communities that we put ourselves in and I wonder did it , the apocalypse come and we didn't notice?
Oh Well, I'm working on my APU CD swap disc's and trying to write more.... maybe it will all work out.....
