7/24: What skill would you like to acquire?
Being able to speak another language. I'd love to speak Finnish, and I'd love to speak Italian as well. Both places i'd like to go/return to - I've been to Finland, but i was tiny and can't remember it! I don't want to be one of these people that goes to another country and "get away" with speaking English. Want to be able to speak as much of the language as possible, but have a "I am English, i'm trying my best to speak your language" kind of thing as well just incase i have some problems!
7/31: Tell us about your first job
First Job. My first job was at B&Q - a Diy company in the UK (mainly). Started off as till staff, but worked my way off the tills onto multiple jobs. Did normal shop floor work, cash office, Process (trying to stuff on the shelf that wasn't for whatever reason). Only thing i didn't do was Showrooms; so planning kitchens and bathrooms etc!
8/7: Flashback Friday! Post photos of your high school style
Can't post pictures as don't have any. Dressed like i do now, so band tshirts, but wore Combat trousers most of the time. Rather obviously, i didn't have a beard :(
8/14: Review the last movie you watched.
Think the last film i watched was Platoon...so a good Vietnam war film. Prefer We Were Soldiers or Full Metal Jacket, but its still a good film. (Even tho i did fall asleep watching it...problem with lying in bed and being tired while trying to do it!)
8/21: What made you feel good this week?
This week? Knowledge that a holiday is a few days away, and that the Rugby World Cup has finally started!
8/28: Who is your celebrity spirit animal?
I'm sorry...what?! Pass.
9/4: What's your best quality?
Probably the amount i care, no matter what it is. Which really is a double edged sword. I hate it, but my bosses like it as i'm adamant things should be done properly. It annoys me where i work as the other people on the department aren't very good and keep fucking up...leading to me getting pissed off.
9/11: Best for advice for dealing with haters?
Ignore them where possible. Some people are just not worth the hassle. I can't deal with arseholes, and it just brings me down when i try to.
9/18: What are you an expert in?
Procrastination! Look at my blog posts like this and the last ones. I've never been good with homework unless its a topic that i really enjoy. (When at school i was really bad, esp history, but when we had some homework on the Somme i really excelled myself and surprised the teacher!) Again, caring too much. I might not always be able to answer your questions/problems, but i'm always willing to listen and try to give advice. I care about my friends; I'm the only one that knows about some problems in my friends lifes and i try to help. Obviously, my advice doesn't need to be taken, and i won't get offended if it doesnt, but i do my best!
