So...Last week, went into work - think it might have been wednesday not sure...and one of the managers said to me "I need to talk to you" *eek* "No, its good!" *O...kay*. Basically, its to change my rota to be Saturday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. As opposed to the Sat/Mon/Tues/Thurs that i was doing. Signed the contract sometime Thursday morning before going home.
Went in last night, sitting down playing a game on my ipad as i've got a while before my shift starts, and one of the other managers says "Ah, I need to speak to you in a bit about changing your contract", to which the response was "i've just signed a new one". "Yea, but this is a different one, it being Sun/Mon/Tues/Wed; I'll give you some time to think about it (Really?! I need time to think about that?). That's fine, i'll sign it! In the...fuck only knows how long i've been there, i'd only signed one contract when i started (dont even think i signed a contract when i got 2 additional days, not sure!), and then (will) sign 2 in less than a week. MADNESS
But. HOORAY! I get a decent weekend without using any holiday!
Whether other things change...time will tell! Fingers crossed but right now; I'm as happy as Larry.
