Wow, things have been crazy lately. Let me fill you in.

While in the process of putting together a new business plan and prospectus I was offered a job running a finance company out of Dallas that wants to go public. Part of their offer was stock in the company (not bad) and a new car. Then out of left field, a contact that I had made years ago called me up and offered me a job running a small company in San Jose, CA. The offer was really good, but I have never wanted to live in CA. So as I am pondering these 2 offers a large investment group gets word about my new business and offers to fund 50% without ever seeing the prospectus because apparently (I was unaware of this) I have a reputation for making other people money. So, I have spent the last week and a half on one phone conference after another, reading through mounds of paperwork, and trying to decide where I want to go and what I want to do. This is the first time in my life people have approached me with offers, usually I am the one busting my ass to get my foot in the door. It's kinda cool.
