oh god it's another monday...
... and I'm still off work!
School started today, I haven't heard a bloody thing from them, twhich is worrying
I'm sure if they had their way they'd fire me, but as I'm contracted to them and I've been signed off sick by my GP, then there's bugger all that they can do!
I mean it's not as if I simply take days off just because I can't be bothered to go in - so okay that's exaclty what the kids do and there's part of me that says why the fuck shouldn't I do the same, but I know that I'm supposed to be a professional, and that I shouldn't entertain those ideas!
So what's been going on in my world - to be honest: not much! I'm finding SGUK an incredibly curious distraction at the moment - in a way I'll be glad to be back at work... at least then I'll only be coming online once a week to update and maybe everyother evening to read what everyone's saying!
I'm painting.
I realize that I sounded a complete prat in my last update: I've hit upon something which I'm not sure where it's going to go - but it's gonna be a fun journey! - yeah whatever! Basically I'm working in a post-expressionist, free movement style, a la Japser Johns meets Monet, meets Mondrian meets Bacon.
I like it! - just dunno why... yet!
I've got two pieces up in the bedroom (one's piece is a triptych, the other is a white and purple tulip - I'm happy with both!) I'm working on a further 3 pieces, one of which is a comission piece

Apart from that, looking after Leah and doing the odd bit of deorating, I'm mostly playing 'City of Heroes Deluxe' on the PC and am trying to rest my back - I HAVE TO GO BACK TO WORK ON WEDNESDAY, NO MATTER WHAT THE DOCTOR SAYS!
I guess I'm just gonna have to tell him how it is at the moment!
Busy reading Marvel's Ultimate X-Men 1 'The Tomorrow People' graphic novel
And just trying to chill - and I do stress the trying part here people!
