Yesterday was one of those days....
The band was playing in London, so we all got organised, hired the trailer, packed the equipment, on the road by midday, all was going swimmingly....
And then the van breaks down 5 miles from the bleeding venue!!!! ARGH!!!!
The ONLY way that the breakdown people could resolve it was to take us 200 miles back UP the motorway to home. So, not only did we not do the gig but we had the joys of 12 hours on the UK motorway system in December.
Hope you all had a better day....

Know what you mean about the Megadeth lineup. I think if I had seen them on that tour I would have second thoughts myself. That old lineup was the best. The last time I actually had a chance to see them was in 97 or 98 but I had no one to go with so I skipped it (stupid me). But this time I won't miss it
Think that's the biggest prob I have, finding someone who will go with me to the gigs. My hubby will only go if he really likes them and knows most songs. Me, well, I go because you never know what a great band you'll find. That's what happened to me at the Iced Earth show. Evergrey opened up for them, never heard of them, but after that show I was hooked.
