I simply can't get over how many amazing sets have gone up recently. I am constantly stunned by how beautiful and cool the sets are. 
It's about all that I can do to not spend all day on my PC, posting comments about other people's sets....

Yesterday was one of those days....
The band was playing in London, so we all got organised, hired the trailer, packed the equipment, on the road by midday, all was going swimmingly....
And then the van breaks down 5 miles from the bleeding venue!!!! ARGH!!!!
The ONLY way that the breakdown people could resolve it was to take us 200 miles back UP the motorway...

Know what you mean about the Megadeth lineup. I think if I had seen them on that tour I would have second thoughts myself. That old lineup was the best. The last time I actually had a chance to see them was in 97 or 98 but I had no one to go with so I skipped it (stupid me). But this time I won't miss it
Think that's the biggest prob I have, finding someone who will go with me to the gigs. My hubby will only go if he really likes them and knows most songs. Me, well, I go because you never know what a great band you'll find. That's what happened to me at the Iced Earth show. Evergrey opened up for them, never heard of them, but after that show I was hooked.

After that performance I'll be along to all of your gigs in Manchester!! It was really cool meeting you, I would have introduced myself earlier in the night but we turned up just as you went on with Shadowplay (who were also awesome!!).

Saw Nightwish in Bradford last night. They were fantastic - best gig I've been to in a while. Kind of gives me a few ideas as well - perhaps Scandinavian-influenced metal is the way forward....?

I'll send you an e-mail when the dates are confimed but it's looking like the 6th of November or the 27th November. I also know someone who might be able to arrange a gig for you the night before. Also, don't worry too much about somewhere to stay coz as long as you don't mind doubling up or sleeping on floors, there will be plently of room for you to stay and mine and Wrathchild's.

There's a few who sound interested. Forkandles normally gets to all the gigs so he should be around...we'll just have to see.
