SInce i finally found a comp that allowed me to post here is my journal from the last few florence...
TODAY
War??? did we drop out of the UN???I cant really tell whats going on i have been getting mixed news from different sources...anytways the peace rallys still reign over here in florence. rainbowed banners proclaiming pace(italian for peace) hanging on every window...I love this place...I have never so badly wanted to be a european or at least not an american. We met some really cool italina kids that took us to some non touristy clubs the other night it was fantabulas! let me tell you theat the 80s have not died here. Flock of Seagull, SIsters of Mercy, The Cure, Joy division, Ton Loc, Cindy Lauper all reigned at the clubs last night...well off again to stroll the gardens and eat gelati mmmmmmmm...

alright last night was a blast. We went to this live music place called the BeBop...3 bottles of wine later and we were the life of the party. So today we have been taking it easy venturing around and walking through the gardens. Beauty...the city, the sites, the food, and most of all the people...finished a roll of film today when i get back ill have plenty of pictures to post...oh yeah i got to see the sculpture of pereus holding medusas head and it was very incredible, 18ft bronze on a marble based...reminded me of that movie Clash of the Titans...hehe i loveed the mechanical owl...anyways back to meet the rest of the frards at DAVID so we can go eat dinner...chow

Since i cant post in my SG journal from the interent cafe or check my mail i decided to write eveyone a hello from here...
Florence is amazing everyone dresses so well and i tend to feel out of place a little but I am accepted...still suffering from jet leg urrgghhhh...thats okay though cause i have been able to have wonderful vino with every meal...havent been to any of the clubs yet but i am looking forward to them...wowzers the people over here a beautiful and the coffee is damn good...aight ill keep ya posted on my adventures so stay tuned...same bat time sam bat channel...

The last two nights i have struck out on my own away from the group...it has been nice finding myself on the streets of florence walking alone, under the marvelous architecture. The solence of the town brings me together inside. I went to the live music club "Be Bop" and the bartender recognizes me now and discounts my drinks. even though we don't speak the same language we have an understanding it such a wonderful thing... Anyways at the "Be Bop" I saw the best italian Queen cover band ever it was very entertaining. well off to the record store to find some italian vinyl...
