haha r00l. got a writeup at work for being 5 min late! hehe. And subsequently belittled and harrassed. My job rawks! Oh well, I'm sure if I were allowed to get sufficent sleep, I would have been in on time (like all last week). That's ok. I'll just remember that next time the store's in a bind I won't stay overnight until 6 hours before my shift the next day, working a 20 hour shift. In fact I don't think I'll stay at all. In fact: I don't really care to be there at all. I've stayed late more times than anyone at the entire store put together. And I've always come through when there's a problem or there's shit work to be caught up on. The only thanks I've gotten in the last 2 years is threatened, yelled at, belittled in front of customers and coworkers, and overall just been treated like shit by the manager. It's going to come down to me or her pretty soon, and since I don't go down on half the district with nasty ass gap teeth, I don't think she'll be the one to go.

So time to break out the resources and start looking for another job. And sadly, it's not really an issue with the company, it's just the manager. She's not only a sorry excuse for a manager, she's a sorry excuse for a human being. Her management "style" (more like chaos) is to pit all the employees against each other. And not in competition to do better, in competiton out of spite for each other. Then she belittles you for the same shit she does wrong all the time. And yelling, and public embarrasment is her form of "discussing" and working out the "diciplinary action".

You know everytime I can think of where the store runs very smoothly is when she's out of town for a week. It's really quite disturbing that our branch actually does better without our manager. I'd love nothing more than to see her gone.

Oh well I've gone on long enough with this. Really, working for Kinkos isn't bad at all. But this specific manager is horrible. Probably the worst person I've ever worked under. Ever.
