It's been a while, hmmmm?
My internet has been cut off, due to the fact that I have been unemployed for nearly a year, and my funds are seriously lacking. It has been a bit difficult to get to a computer.
SO!
So it goes, I suppose.
Not a lot has been going on in my life other than attempting to keep up with the day to day politics that I'm interested in.
First things first, supreme court ruling removing the cut off allotted for corporations to give to candidates? Let me begin by saying what the fuck? So if...say...some tool at...say....an oil company decides he wants to give millions to support a certain candidate, that's okay? And say, perhaps, if said oil company were to want the campaign directed a certain way, do you not think that the receiving party of such funds would not feel to do so?
What cracks me up is fox news reporting how this will open up parties to free speech. What free speech? Where is the free speech?

Because if THAT isn't a sign as to how things are going down the drain...this morning the boy and I met with a friend for breakfast and the friend disclosed to me how lacking the new federal budget is.
$50 million over three years to strengthen slaughterhouse capacity.

Is everyone COMPLETELY UNAWARE of the precarious edge we are teetering on? Do you think extreme weather changes are normal, or is it perhaps we've just accepted it because Al Gore is apparently a joke, a hack, because of a raging snowstorm in the U.S., as declared by Fox.
Fox is a privatized company, by the way.

Perhaps if left to their own devices the mass does not want to seek out their own form of knowledge and information. Perhaps most would like to have it handed to them on a sparkling silver dish, all laid out in excruciatingly, painfully obvious detail.
Don't get me wrong, I love to have a good time and not think about all the overwhelmingly shitty situations our world is facing, but at the end of the day I open my eyes and take stock of what I'm doing. At the end of the day I know I'm responsible for my actions and the impact I'm leaving on this planet. I realize I have a daughter, and my daughter will have a daughter..or maybe a son. Her children will have children, and that will be my family faced to deal with what I partook in today. Perhaps I don't want to feel ashamed for not having done anything, even if it is the slightest thing.
By the way, screw you you racist assholes. Your ignorance will get you nowhere.
Calling someone a chink, a nigger,a porkchop, a wop, a spic, whitebread...It only shows your stupidity and how lacking in intelligence you are as you rely on a word that you didn't even have the brains to come up with. Too often are we segregated into our own cultures, our own countries, not realizing that perhaps if you took a look outside your city you might see it would enable us for change. I love my heritage, my background. Being eastern European gave me a way of living that not always makes sense to someone who isn't. But that's okay. I may not live with the family anymore, but I still celebrate Ukrainian New Year and Christmas. That being said, it is not entirely who I am. I don't shove it in your face. I don't look down upon you if you aren't European, although I won't lie I was more attracted to polish/Ukrainian boys when I was a teenager than any other boys.
My boy is a pretty sexy Irish man, if I do say so myself.
That is all for now, I just had some things I needed to rant about, and I do wish I could get on the net more often, perhaps I will strive for a few days from now, not 2 months .
