As swamp gas

Or a weather balloon

A helicopter

With its searchlights

Full throttle

I have to explain HER

As SOMETHING

Else, I will go crazy

Staring into those eyes

As big as saucers

This connection across

Light years

A crowded bar room

Pared down to some

Tractor beam

It was just a little too much booze

I can say later

In my little room

A mysterious time gap

That I'd rather not fill

Let's not make it

Anything else

Let's not climb aboard

That ship again

Especially this late in the game
