Digression Tour
Copyright 2020 Michael S. Walker)
In the digression jungle--all the high winds whipping through ITS hands. Here comes another Pop-Up Woman--her khaki skin the color of her halter. She is drinking a Heineken listening to Lady Day Lady Day Lady Sin. In the digression river I floats helplessly from point Ah to ZED, hoping for some calm backwater to help me begin. But there is nothing NOTHING All the restaurant franchises where there used to be field corn. All the heroin addicts where there used to be paper boys. All the cancers coming up from the sewer. AGAIN. In the digression desert I writes journal entries log entries cri de couers but no one hears or listens. The volcano erupts every fifteen minutes. The pirates storm the show girls’ gaudy schooner. History implodes and the pornslappers do their fucking job.
Once again…
