and so...here i sit.
i found the sweet spot in my apartment for the crappy wifi i keep buying till i get my modem from qwest. its been much better...i've even been able to catch up on house!
unfortunately...its right on the end of my bed...so on days like today when its snowing, and i don't have to do anything except run a single errand later....I'm not even dressed and cuddling with the cat.
speaking of my darling boo boo (his names bear...but boo boo or fuzz butt happen more often) he is currently standing right beside me, meowing at disturbingly regular intervals like and alarm clock every time i stop touching him.
so. like i said. the snow has started here.
its cold...and I'm using that as an excuse to lay around my warm place naked and abuse teh interwebz...and knit & crochet.
i made this bad ass pair of arm warmers out of angora. I'm very proud of them.
lets see here...
I'm turning into a teenage girl, because I'm totally reading twilight (and the books after it). I wanted to see what the big deal was...and to be honest, as much as I'm usually all for sexy, brooding, intelligent (albeit) aloof-ish vampire boys with immortal souls...I'm definitely pulling for the werewolf in this series. I think if i were writing the series that I'd be all about Bella making it with Jacob. Edward Cullen doesn't do it for me.
it breaks my heart to say that.
I have to get down to the pharmacy and the library later. good thing there's a bus i can take. I got sent home from work and told to stay home today because I've got a fever and a sore throat. I'm acquiring some NyQuil, and proscribing myself a hefty dose of video games and hot tea.
I'm off all weekend, and i thought about going up to the lake...but...i think I'm going to stay in and be a reclusive sickly face. We'll see how i feel after all is said and done.
who wants to come in and snuggle with me?
i'll make the food.
the coolest/scariest thing happened here a few weeks ago.
I'm from the Midwest, so tornadoes are NOT new to me. I've seen scary winds etc...
but NOT like this.
we had a windstorm a few weeks ago...sustained winds over 70mph for HOURS.
trees were down. power was out. it was scary.
i have some video of the waves crashing over the breaker wall on the lake. very cool to watch now that I'm not in the middle of it.
okay. love to all.

I'll snuggle... Maybe at my house, though. You've moved up by Canada for the health care, but will be killed by godawful northern storms.
