I have been really upset lately...restless...feeling strange.

I thought maybe it would help to discuss my last year.

I got out of a really difficult relationship. I'm not going to go into details, because i sound like a broken record. But needless to say, it has forever changed my life.

I also was Living in DeKalb (NIU), and working at Kishwaukee community hospital when this happened...



I was there the day it happened. One of my best friends was supposed to TA the class that day...the guy who stood in for him took 6 rounds. I saw the victims...i hugged shaking cops and family members. I've barely talked about it because that wasn't my home town, and i saw so many other people completely devastated by this incident...but...i don't really think that i will ever really be the same. Ask Darksided23...those were some really hectic and overwhelming times in that little town. There wasn't anyone who walked away untouched.

I've been really overwhelmed lately. The details of which are only known to a select few...

I'm really scared by the way the world is looking.

I know i'm not alone.

I will update more when i sort it out, but the phrase "can't catch a break" seems to ring awfully true.

Darksided23, what is it about that tiny town that seems to stick with you?

I'll leave you all with this...I'm doing okay..i just need to see some friends and discuss some major life issues.
