I hate Christmas shopping!!!!!!!!! Just the idea of going near a mall gets me all stressed out. I just drove past one today, and it was chaotic. It was so crowded that people were actually parking their cars on green areas. I tried to buy all my gifts in Old San Juan, just to avoid going to the mall, but, of course, I still have a few more gifts to buy.
I'm getting my boyfriend an Xbox system and a few games. I know I'm going to regret it. He'll be completely hooked to the TV, playing violent games and avoiding all human contact (including me.)
My boyfriend's thesis counselor invited us to dinner tonight. It was weird. He's a Russian mathematician with an attitude. At least this time, the conversation was not limited to Mathematics. He also talked about the Math Department
I didn't die of boredom because he had invited more people. The wine also helped. a lot.
