Today, a client of mine said I'm particularly helpful in my provision of alternative perspectives on his various situations, since he often doesn't see them himself. For example, today I helped him see that negative personality traits are often necessarily present for the flip-side positive ones to exist. Therefore, there should be no shame in presenting all sides of one's self in relationships. And real intimacy depends on how much you're willing to risk revealing.

He hasn't asked me how long I've been doing this. In fact, nobody has. I was glad about that at the beginning - 6 months ago - but, now, I wouldn't mind.
