I woke up today to the sound of one of my housemates for next term at uni, Andy, moving some of her stuff around and painting her skirting boards-I didn't know she was coming today and so I hadn't got up, showered or anything :S Turns out I should've known, but i'd left my phone turned off and hadn't got her message-d'oh!
That might have been fine, but she brought along her girlfriend, Sarah, who I hadn't even met yet, and her parents! Great way to meet someone's partner Katie-greasy, dressed in night clothes and totally unprepared! Ah well, it's hardly a big deal really-Andy'll have to see me every morning for the next year and i'm sure Sarah will be staying over at some point. Least I've finally met her!
I was quite nervous about meeting her after some of the things Andy had told me (I won't go into details here) but fortunately she seemed really nice and pretty much normal-yay! Hmm, s'pose i'd better have a shower at some point today...it's already 14.10 and I'm not dressed...

yeah... back when i lived with my parents we rarely got them. sometimes we'd get little power blinks but never really a good outage.
