Why the hell is it that every time wifey and I say "we're having a quiet evening tonight" and that "we're going to bed early", we end up drinking till 4 am? Jesus Christ, you think we'd learn.
Anyway, old friends in town this past week. It's good to spend time with folks you haven't seen in a while. There's talk of a ski trip in the works, which is great cause I love skiing, but haven't done it in many, many years.
VERY, VERY QUICK EDIT: Christmas is coming. In my family, that means that I don't need to buy a new toothbrush or floss, because Mom is giving us all those things. Is that true of all families?
