Wow. Sorry it's been like 2 months since I've actually been on the face of the earth, but a whole lot has happened. A quick rundown, listy-style as usual:
1) School. Big group project due, eating up a lot more of my time than I'd intended.
2) Linux install went bad, somehow reformatted both of my HDs AND killed my power supply (not exactly sure how that happened). The music library and computer itself are currently recovered.
3) Maya wrote and defended her dissertation. She is now officially a Dr., as of Wednesday. Being the 'loving support' is a surprisingly large job, in case anyone's SOs out there are thinking of doing a PhD.
4) Decided on San Francisco as the next step. Job applications pending, I'm looking to move there in July or August. A lot of this is at the whim of the economy right now.
5) Job hunting, due to reasons above. Also suprisingly time-consuming when seriously attempted.
