I'm currently in Chicago, just doing Chicago-y things. Actually, Maya's got a conference and I'm tagging along to sightsee and meet up with some friends of mine who moved here from Arizona.
In the meantime, though, I'm working on a class project-doing a mathematical decision analysis based on probability theory and utility theory to determine if it's better to: a) shop at the grocery store and buy whatever's cheap, b) shop at the grocery store and buy their certified organic foods, or c) get groceries and produce from a local supplier, like at a CSA or farmer's market. This is for my class, and of course, I'm turning it all hippie-ish should be interesting.
