A small problem:
I saw advertised what would be a dream-ish job for me the other day; as a systems engineer on NASA's new Orion space vehicle. Admittedly, I think space and space travel are awesome (it was part of the reason I moved to Tucson in the first place), and I'm digging the Sys. Eng. work these days. Unfortunately, the job is with Honeywell, a major aerospace defense contractor. I wouldn't be building any weapons, but, unfortunately, I'd still be part of the "military-industrial complex". I'm applying, but if I get the offer, I don't know what to do.
In other news, no scary movies were shown on my local cable affiliate for Halloween. Isn't that what the holiday is about? I mean, other than getting drunk and wearing as little as humanly possible. Pssh. Lame.
