Wow... long time since the last update for me.

Well, I went with the pathologist at work to look at some tissue. I got to see someone's incredibly tumorous kidney and someone else's stomach. Honestly-it wasn't that gross (the tissue was fixed, so it wasn't too bloody), and really really fascinating. So I'll tag along again in the future. Maybe I'll even take the gross anatomy class where you dissect a cadaver. We'll see. I have to work up to that.

I found out why the Arizona group hasn't accepted me-you need to attend an event or have a member vouch for you. Since I don't even know who's on the list, the member vouching is out of the question. And, since most of the group events appear to be in the Phoenix/Scottsdale/Tempe area, and I'm unwilling to drive 2 hours just to see a few people, well, that might be a little slow in happening. Ah, well.

I lament it nearly every other week, but I really wish I spoke Spanish. Living this close to Mexico, and having many Mexican coworkers; well, it'd be a useful skill.
