Still waiting to hear on the AZ group membership, but it's my impression this takes a little while.
Talked to Dad today; he's doing just fine. A little wiped out, but he's off the painkillers for the most part and ready to get back to work. After yesterday's freakishly huge hailstorm, it's starting to get really hot again, and I'm actually sort of welcoming it. I'm finally becoming a true Arizonan (Arizoner?).

I love hot weather! Nothing beats being on the beach, cooling off in the sea on a hot sunny day. Yummy! x
