The one funny thing I saw yesterday after hearing about the Virginia Tech shooting:
I was going out to lunch with two of my coworkers, we had to go to the Home Depot to rig up some plumbing in the lab, when I passed by another coworker's cubicle. He looked like he was working hard; writing reports or something, till I looked a little closer. Then I noticed how many "o"s and how many "h"s were in a row in his Word document. By the time I got to the phrase "the two women came", I realized he was writing lesbian erotic fiction. I had to laugh.

she wrote about how corporations take nowadays political decisions and as we don't elect them they are like having too much power
i havent read anything from howard zinn but ive checked on wikipedia and i surely will read some...
And the shooting is horrible. So weird stuff like that happens so eventually in the USA :/
