Being almost unbearably stifling and moist for 360 days out of the year, Florida has a seemingly endless supply of cozy cotton t-shirts with clever slogans and designs that are especially suitable for beachy time in Costa Rica. And as home to the world's elderly and terminally frugal, there are discount retail outlets on every corner.

And it's a damn good thing, too, because they all look like this:

Something's been bugging me the last few days...

growing up, it was a big deal during the summer months to meet a kid on your block who had an outie. Is it just me or have the Outies all disappeared? Can adults have outies? Do Outies' bellybuttons slowly collapse as they get older? Has some insidious American corporation paid off all the Outies of the world to have some sort of painful operation at the onset of adolescence to invert their protruding navels in order to bring us one step closer to one single, homogenized, and inarguably perfect society?

Is there something better I could be doing with my time?
